is a dope, why would he stay with a team thats gonna fire him. if he had any class hed do what dan reeves did(yes he did good stuff altho PB never acknowledged it) and step down to give a assistant a chance to take over. fassell-no class
Dawk, I heard a someone on ESPN give some good reasons why Fassel is doing things this way. One, it allows the Giants to go ahead and get a headstart on a search and he can leave doing something for the franchise that gave him his big break. Two, it also allows him to let other teams know that he will be available at the end of the season. I think that the Giant players respect him enough to want to play hard the last two games for him. Perhaps the owner clearly didn't want to promote an assistant at this time, so Fassel may as well coach the last two games. It's hard to know what what was discussed behind closed doors. Jim Fassel did a good job for the Giants. I trust that he's doing the right thing for the team. Just my opinion.

Hey DAWK OVERCHEIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have had no DB's all year thats why people burn them. The Will's are stil too raw. Allen plays a 10 yard cushion and peterson doesnt take enuff chances.
