Closing the vote for the Pro Bowl after 14 games is the dumbest idea the leauge has ever had. Why, would you not wait for the last 2 games, argueably the 2 most important regular season games of the year. Do they really need that 2 week jump on naming players that wont play in the game until February??? This makes no sence to me....and by doing this, you may miss a player that deserves to go and send a guy that doesnt....This system is even more moronic than the Hiesman voting!

who really cares, its gonna be the big names and thats it. mcnabb went and didnt deserve to, same with shokey and many otheres. many people get snubbed, especially carlos emmoms best OLB after aarington, brooks and peterson in the NFC. its a shame
What's really stupid about the ProBowl balloting is letting the fans vote at all. Of the thousands of people any of us come into contact with in a year, what gives them the smarts to decide who is the best football player at their position. At least two-thirds of the fans I talk to are complete morons. That is why I like to frequent boards like this one, the fans here are the exception. Most everyone knows what the hell they are talking about. <insert ass kissing sounds>

Yeah they should have the Pro Bowl selection After the final regular season game because it's only fair. Why have it on the 14th week make no sense at all.
Must be a time issue with scheduling to get everyone to the Pro Bowl. Or they figure that teams may sit players at the end and voting might be effected by that... who knows? I'm not so sure the Pro-Bowl shouldn't be voted on by the players and not the fans.
