The 34-year-old bowed to the inevitable after consultation with medical staff and is expected to confirm the news today, with concern about the impact on Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad outweighed by the sense of loss felt by all at Old Trafford.

I think there were rumors he will take a position with the club after his retirement, of course those rumors were circulating with thoughts of him playing at least 1 more year. Better hope Saha is in shape... or wonder if ManU knew about this and why they were linked to Berbatov again recently.
-Petey

Berbatov is apparently signing a big Contract with Tottenham. Can't blame Spurs i'd want to keep him lol. I've always liked Ole and hope he carries on in football.
