QUOTE

James has been the best playmaker not named Jason Kidd for the United States and Redd has been dropping three-pointers like they were layups. Both players admit that the thought has crossed their minds about what could've been had Redd opted for joining the Cleveland Cavaliers instead of staying in Milwaukee as a free agent in the summer of 2005. "No doubt about it," Redd said. "You can't avoid that. Obviously, I think it would've been special, but it's no regrets at the same time." "Oh, always," James said. "Especially when you've got a deadly shooter like that. Anytime he catches the ball, it's going in - 90 percent of the time." Washington Post

-Petey

Cavs should've went harder at Redd. I heard James didn't even show up for the recruiting of him, he just called him. Redd could have been able to recoup the rest of the money he gets with Milwaukee with an opt out clause after the first few yrs.Reddwill regret it in a couple of yrs when reality sets in and he wants out.
This would have been an amazing signing, the Cavaliers lack in perimiter shooting and Redd would be able to feed off of LeBron's passing tremendousely. Sadly they got Larry Hughes for much more than he's worth and LH hasn't been able to get back to the level he was in Washington.

He still has alot of developing to do but right now boobie is pretty much being used as a shooter.

As for Larry Hughes at the 1, they were succesful when he was there but I think the Cavs have to hope for something better than that.

Gibson is better as a 6th man at SG. If they want to take the next step Gibson has a lot of developing to do to turn into the type of PG they need and Hughes cant be their PG.
