It worries me that the media keeps talking about Wannstedt leading the Dolphins to 10 wins this year. We haven't swept the Jets yet. I know that losing would give us a better draft pick, but I don't want to live with a loss to the Jets for the whole offseason. This weekend could give some telling signs about this team's heart. With nothing but pride on the line, will the Dolphins go out and fight to the end or will they give up? I'd like to see my boys fight till the bitter end. Go Dolphins!

Lets treat this like the exhibition game this is. Play Sage & Minor most of the game. At this point, it makes no difference if Miami finishes w/ 9 wins or 10.

If prior history is any indication, the 'phins will roll over.

I think Sage Rosenfels should start the game....Wanny wont because he thinks 10 wins might save his job(It better not)....Give Sage a shot, prepare him all week as the starter and see what you got! They wont do that though, so I will watch, knowing that its the last time I may see Madison, Bowens, and Marion as Dolphins.

Beef, if you start Sage, would you sit the other starters? If Ricky Williams and Chris Chambers are on the bench, would you get a true indicator of what Sage can do? I wouldn't mind seeing Sage get some snaps with the 1st team.

I would only start young players at postions where the vets are not likely to be back...Rosenfels at QB, Kendall Newson oppisite of Chambers and on Punt Returns....Billy Yates and McKinney on the line....Aurtuo Freeman at FS....thats about all I would change, Ricky should start if he wants too, hes not going anywhere...but if hes even slightly hurt, then Minor should get the start with Leanord Henry seeing signifigant time

Does anyone know how many yards Ricky Williams needs to gain against the Jets for the Dolphins to lead the league in rushing, for the 2nd half of the season, like Teflon Dave promised us?

Well, the phins almost laid down. It appears Feidler played well. If he could play like that every game then...

However, we all know the 2 games against the Jets and Dallas this year were the exceptions.

Can someone get Brunnell's agent on the phone? The Dwo is calling.

If the rumors are true and Mueller is the GM coming in, Im sure he wont re-sign Fiedler, but go after a talented vet. that means Brunnel, Bledsoe, or Warner(or maybe Kitna, if the Bengals play Palmer)

Don't tag that bag off Beef. THe bottom line on ESPN just said that Wanny is being retained. Until I hear an official announcement, I can only hope for what we all want.

Dale; We need to start getting paper bags at the grocery store so Beef will have backups.

I don't want Warner, the baggage, & the freak show that comes with it. Then, we start talking about Kurt. Bledsoe will remain IMO.

Brunnell would be my preference. Kitna would be nice. Jeff Garcia would be good as well. If the Saints get rid of Brooks. I'm all for that as well. Jarious Jackson (currently w/ Denver) would be okay.

If Miami tenders Ogunleye and gets some picks then maybe a deal can be worked out w/ Houston for Drew Henson.

10-6 and you want Jarious Jackson?? Be careful what you wish for BA. I say they keep Wanny and sign Brunell. That would give them the best shot next year.

You do want to win now???

I may be wrong but I think Drew Henson will be reentered into the NFL draft and this time it will actually be worth drafting him as it seems hes done with baseball.

    Zack;

I was just throwing out names and was watching the Broncos game. It just happened Simms/Gumbel was shafted in Denver and for whatever reason. Jarious struck me as a possibility. Nothing more nothing less.

I think any 'phins fan out there would prefer Brunnell were Miami to bring in a veteran backup.

IMO, 1 more change is needed. Bring in now former Buffalo coach & their D Co-ordinator in some capacity.
