Spurs should be fine, Oberto and Splitter will be enough to carry the load while Elson is down and it's not like Elson played a big role through last season either.

How is Splitter going to carry any of the load from Spain?

Elson is just a garbage man in the paint, he gets easy buckets, defensive rebounds, etc. He doesn't have much of a role, but the center rotation of him and Oberto was very effective during the playoffs.

Yeah, Splitter won't be coming over anytime soon because of his buyout.

I didn't realize he wasn't signed and had an issue with his spanish club.

Either way, this will continue to give Oberto the chance to improve and continue to work on his game which looked pretty good in the playoffs last year.
