I have just learned that there have several players heading to England after being seen at the recent Dallas Cup, I belive this is a new avenue for euro clubs as these players do not have binding contracts in the USA. so they become very cheap to secure.

    Stay Tuned

European clubs have milked africa of her players in a modern day "slave" trade and now seem to be moving onto the USA after exploiting the economic benefits of asian clubs.

Fair point you make krustie. North America is the next big talent drain. Soccer is still growing over there and it's developing at a phenomenal rate with schools, colleges and local leagues booming with raw talent. The financial strength of NBA, NFL, MLB and to a lesser extent NHL has meant that more effort has had to be put in at junior / grass roots level for the MLS to survive.

But the youngsters coming through are being snapped up by the MLS, however the european big guns are lurking.

Ehh, I just moved to the states, and coming from Argentina, Chile, Korea, and Brazil, personally the people in the US aren't that good to some kids overseas.

United, Barca, Real and Chelsea are in a tug of war for Freddy Adu. From what I've seen of him at 16 years old, he'll be amazing by his twenties.

Of the American continent footballing prodigies, I'd prefer Kerlon to Adu.
