The CAF African footballer of the year seems debatable following the injury of Eto and his eviction from the world cup. Kanu had a good runs at the Cup of nations, Essien's been terrific for Chelsea, he did relatively well in the world cup and nation's cup as did Drogba.

    What you think?

Eto'o. His team won the European Cup, he's one of the top strikers in the world as well as one of the most dangerous. Just because he's injured at the moment, doesn't mean he hasn't played well for the rest of the year.

Essien is in contention but Eto'o has been better on the whole. Stephen Appiah might be in with a shout too.

I'd rather see a non-barcalona player win something for once. Its getting beyond a joke them winning everthing. :/
