This should be intresting. If you could pick ANY player in the world at the moment for your supported club (who does not already play for them), who would it be and why? I support Chelsea and I think the newley Real Madrid player <font size="-1">Cannavaro </font>would be the perfect partner for John Terry in defense. However Mankind isn't ready for that kind of partnership. Kills me to think why Chelsea didnt snap him up before Real Madrid - what were they thinking. So what footballer would you pick for your club and why?
Fernando Torres. Louis Saha is just far to inconsistent to be playing such a major role at the club. Torres is an outstanding poacher (exactly what we need to compliment Rooney) and will get goals week in week out. He can operate effectively in and around the box but also has pace, which defenders (especially slower central defenders) really don't like playing against. Having players with pace such as Ronaldo, Rooney, Torres and Giggs running at you with Scholes to cut back to, it's definitely a frightening prospect for any defence in the world.
There isn't really a set perfect player for West Ham at this current time, as in my opinion the whole team could do with a reshuffle, But there is that someone I've always been fond of and his name is Juninho - I think his shear dazzlement on the ball is enough for any team to want him.
Joe Cole. I would swap Hleb anyday and if Arsenal would pay some extra money the deal could work. I often read that Joe Cole is overrated and when there were rumours about him going to Arsenal everybody talked about not needing him but I think we need someone like him. My second choice would be Eto'o because he would be the perfect partner for Henry. But I know, we have RvP and Adebayor and there's "no need for another striker" ..
Drogba's physical strength and Henrys lightning speed would work much better then Eto and Henry IMO. I see Eto as a tonned down version of Henry playing alongside some of the best delivery in the game, I get no specialness vibe from Eto...
Christiano Ronaldo Or Simao As much as i hate to say it christiano is the most skillfull player in the premiership but he should stop diving like a twat and simao is just quality but if we were 2 get either of them u get the shooting from long range of riise aurlio etc and if u want to play goanzalez u can replace them because both ronaldo and siamo can cross and if you want 2 play pennant for the corsses both ronaldo an simao are just as effective on the left side
Torres or Villa! Two fantastic strikers that would really help out our weak strike force. Saha is, in my eyes, a fringe player who gives nothing to the team. Smith will never be the player he was at Leeds and I can see him leaving if he doesn't feature in more games. Hopefully Fergie pulls out all the stops and signs one of these two great strikers
I wouldn't mind seeing David Villa signed up for Chelsea, I think him and Drogba would play well together. And hopefully we can offload Shevchenko for a Mars Bar or two, he has been absolutely fucking useless!
Kak? great all round player, would be great with Ballack, Kak? and Lampard in midfield. after it would be Juninho Pernambucano then David Villa as 3rd choice.
David Villa.. I was going to say Lionel Messi but Aiden McGeady does good enough even though Messi is 25x better but Celtic just dont have a good goalscorer Miller is pathetic, JVOH is too inconsistant and has had alot of Injuries , Beattie is just a dumpling.
