It's a shame I couldn't name some overhyped football players so I opened that thread. It's just the opposite to biglips' thread, about the most underrated players around. I could name a lot but name the first 3 I can think about in England Shay Given (would be Nr1 at many clubs around the world but Newcastle's playing shitty so nobody talks about him. He's constantly playing good and I would love to see him at Arsenal.) David Healy (Why the fuck does he play for Leeds? He could be playing in the Premier League, just think about his hattrick against Spain.) Manu Ebou? (Where's the hype? This guy is playing constantly good and he's one of the best right backs in the Premier League. No doubt.) It's your turn!
Way to many to name, but one that sticks out is Shay Given - he could seriously do better then Newcastle! :/
I think Makelele doesn't get enough credit for his work in the Chelsea midfiled. He is pure class. With the rest of the midfield bombing forward, he's left back to mop up in front of the defence.
