I think alot of ppl out there will probably laugh at my suggestion. Yes, we are behind MU by 13 pts, but, seriously I still don't think MU is the team to beat, Chelsea is. We are behind Chelsea by 10 pts excluding a game in-hand. If we can start being consistant in the rest of our games and convert the draws into wins, we will be there with Chelsea. The reason for my belief is that MU just do not have the bench. MU has a strong bench for their defence but suprisingly has a rather weak subs for their traditionally strong midfield and attack. If one of these area has a couple of injuries, believe me, they will have problems.
Arsenal will not win the title. Arsene is already making every excuse under the sun and pretty much everyone connected with Arsenal has said that it won;t happen this year. The team to beat are the leaders. The leaders, at this time, are Manchester United. Arsenal's home form is what will hurt them. They're unbeaten at "The Fantastic Emirates" but 3 wins and 4 draws is pretty poor, given Arsenal's stature. The away form isn't too handy either. 3 wins and 3 losses, is it? Arsenal's win over United at Old Trafford is completely meaningless since they've lost those 3 away games. Arsenal's situation now is the same as Manchester United when people were writing us off a couple of season's ago. We're back now with a revitalised squad and a few key players back from long-term injury and we're a completely new team. It's a case of patience. The increased revenue from those extra 25,000-odd seats at the new stadium will help in the transfer market for sure.
Why cant we play like we did today every game if we did we would win the premiership. We didnt rely on Henry today for once (omg) and we pulled out a fantastic performance why cant we do this every week. We will beat chelsea on sunday as well we will finally show them what time it is!!!
I think our team's too weak to challenge for the title. I changed my mind about Hleb, he's a great player but there's something that doesn't fit. The players aren't playing constantly well. Think of Gilberto, he's a rock when he's on fire but he's to blame (partial) for some of the losses against 'small' teams. Our defense is also weak. I rate Senderos, Gallas, Toure and Ebou? but Hoyte is bullshit .. Clichy was injured for a long time, Djourou is insecure .. We just gotta wait what happens.
