Shevchenko loaned back to AC Milan come January?

    Which they aren't necessarily, but im just saying IF the rumours are true, and Shevchenko is loaned back to AC Milan in January, then would you consider the Shevchenko transfer to be pound for pound the worst of all time?

    30m for 3 goals so far, as a neutral, watching him he looks lethargic, hes lost his pace, he doesnt chase balls, his first touch is poor, he just looks generally out of place in the Chelsea starting line up.

    Whats your opinion?

    People would argue that Veron was a worse signing, but United got 2 good years out of him before they lost money on him. Chelsea bought Shevchenko when he'd passed his peak, for a ridiculous sum.

    He was bought for his name, his old reputation and the fact he was a friend of Abramovich's.
