Now before anyone thinks that I am making an excuse think again as I aint as I believe that a lot of players in our current squad are just not good enough. However the injury situation is rediculous we have 13 players out:
    1. Milner
    2. Nzogbia
    3. Dyer
    4. Harper
    5. Krul
    6. Moore
    7. Babayaro
    8. Carr
    9. Owen
    10. Duff
    11. Pattison
    12. Parker
    13. O brian
Why is it that Newcastle keep on getting injuries? It happened last season and its happening again this its ludicrious if I was the chairmen or manager I would get rid of Dereck Wright the physio and try to freshen it up I know it may not be his fault but I think that something has to be done. he has been on the books of the club for a long time something like 6 or 7 years at least if I am correct thats longer than any manager at the club. The club is a farce/mess from top to bottom there is no structure/continuity in place. Why do you guys think it is that Newcastle United are consistently blighted by injuries?, as I say the reason why we are at the bottom end is because of the board/manager and players performances not being good enough.

It's a tough injury crises Newcastle are going through at the moment, but some of the players you have mentioned who have injuries Jake Toon have a history of being slightly injury prone. Players like Dyer, Moore, Babayaro, Owen and Duff seem to spend more time on the treatment table then on the football pitch itself. It's difficult to judge some of the injuries as it can be just bad luck or from bad tackles in games. Maybe you have a problem with your training ground pitch or the pitch you play on inside your stadium. The reason your close to the bottom can be due to the manager and chairman but alot of it does have to do with the players who are the ones who have to put on the performances, and at times this season it has seemed like they have lacked the will to do so.

I still don't believe it needs to be all doom and gloom up at Newcastle. Once you get most of your best players back on the pitch, playing week in and week out together I can see you finishing inside the top ten for sure and possibly further.

I hope your right mate I also think it depends on who (if anyone) we buy and if anyone leaves. I hope Milner stays but if I was a betting man I wouldn't be that confident especially with MON and Randy Learner waiting to pounce and bring their man to Villa Park. It would be a huge blow for us and it would be stupid to sell one of our best performers this season.

Surely if it's happening season after season, people should be looking at the coaching staff rather than the players themselves? I don't think I've ever known a club to have such a terrible run of injuries.

Isn't Amoebi still out? Milner, N'Zogbia, and Dyer are back... but quite inconsistently, I might add... [IMG]

Slightly off-topic, but one thing I don't get is why they don't play Luque at all! He seems like a good chum, I've heard a lot of good stuff about him. [IMG]
