This year has been nothing short of disasterous for Arsenal FC and Wenger himself. He'll blame Henry playing in the World cup and being tired as the primary reason but we all know that's rubbish. Makelele played in the world cup the same amount as Henry and he's showing no signs of fatigue. Alot of the Italian players are playing fantastic football and getting results, and they went as long as Henry.

Time for Wenger to admit that without Henry, Arsenal are, basically, toothless. There's only so much pressure you pile on young Fabregas to lead the team when Henry is not in the side. Hleb and Ljundberg aren't working at all, Walcott is too young, Adebayor doesn't get the runs in the team and Van Persie isn't consistent enough. Also, Wenger's tactics are laughable nowadays. Arsenal rely on teams being dazzled by his team's passing now and try and one-touch the ball from one oend of the field into the goal and it just doesn't work anymore.

Wenger's also blamed the Stadium. It's tough moving to a new stadium after all these years but is it a complete coincidence that Arsenal's form and ability has dipped since moving from the narrowest pitch in the league to one of the widest? Other teams only got to play there once a year Arsenal played there 19 times and got used to using the relatively-confined space to thir best ability with their short-passing game but now they have the Identi-Kit Euro-stadium and the much wider, open pitch, they don't know how to use the open spaces and Wenger is stumped since he keeps playing the same way and the same players regardless.

I've spoken to a fair few Gooners I know and they've all said Arsene is losing the plot and anything higher than a 4th place finish is, at this point in time and on this course, completely out of reach and they think Arsenal will struggle to even hit the UEFA cup spots if they don't do something soon. They feel anything less that 5th or 6th and they'll be caling for Wenger's head.

So I turn it over to you people. Should Wenger leave at the end of the season, whether he jumps or his pushed?

i think it depends on where Arsenal come. if they dont get into UEFA cup i think wenger definatley will leave or he will be sacked. if they get 5th or 6th i think he could be sacked but i dont think it likely.

just remember, its still early in the season. Arsenal hvnt had the best start and need to pick up their game. They probably will beat porto this week even without Henry, which will give them a spot in the UCL Round Of 16.
They r really strugglign in the Premiership, 16pts behind Man Utd, with still a game in hand. However arsenal are showing some signs of magic this season, as Van persie, Fabregas, and Gallas are really starting to show a bit of skill. Van persie has saved Arsenal's bacon more than once this year. And Walcott is playing excellent football for a youngster, he will definetely become a key player for arsenal in the future. Anyway, give it time. Its still early in the season, and for all we noe arsenal could finish anywhere. As or Wenger, he isnt as good as he used to be, but hes not a fool trying to find excuses to hide his sides failures. Hes in trouble, but hes an experienced guy. He neos wot hes doing.
So lets see where arsenal finish first at the end of the season.
Just remember arsenal beat Man Utd 1-0 at old trafford lol. [IMG]
