I feel that all Chelsea fans were a bit sceptical about Ashley Cole at first, not because of his ability being questioned, but because he was always going to replace Wayne Bridge who was playing superbly at the start of this season. But he has now won the fans over and is playing at the top of his game, whilst confirming what most football fans feel, that he is possibly the best left back in the world. His hatred towards Arsenal (the passion in his celebration when Essien scored yesterday showed it all too well) will add to him becoming a true Chelsea legend. Richards and Lennon in January (with SWP being used as a make-weight in either deal) and a young up and coming centre-half and I feel our squad will be complete.
A.Cole has the potential to be a Chelsea legend but it'll only happen if they win the Champions league, winning the Premiership back to back takes all the fun out of it for now . His always been a talent though, however his book did raise questions but then again take a look at Roy Keane's book and well, which was worse? I could go on and name of silly footballers who have shot themselves in the foot but I'd rather not. Those people who call him "Cashley" are petty, weak morons who leave zero respect in the game, these kind of fools prolly lacked in the slappage area when they were little babys - nobody leaves a job for less pay unless they hate it! So get real folks. Amazes me how Chelsea fans rightfully cheer x-players (Gallas) but Arsenal wouldn't just out of pure jealousy/spite, at least it showed us how <font size="1">great</font>their fans are. Onto the Richards and Lennon subject, I'd rather lick clean my dogs testicles then see Lennon in a Chelsea shirt, we already have an extreme array of talent in Robben, J.Cole and SWP, if you're going to rock the boat out on another winger then buy someone like Joaquin, Vicente, Silva, Nani, Gardado (Okay to much football manager). We're struggling in the rightback department so Richards wouldn't be a bad buy, however I'd much perfer a worldclass player to take the roll such as Sergio Ramos, Chiellini or even Philip Lahm. Come the next World Cup everybodys going to be drooling over the prospect of having the Chelsea elite playing for <u>them</u>, and they will love winning. Ta for now
<div class="quote_poster">dan Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">lacked in the slappage area</div> Cooool, but LOL SLAPPAGE!!
<strike>You can't compare Gallas and Ashley. Ashley is a f**king w***er who deserves the s*** he gets back. Gallas didn't say things like he was a scapegoat and he didn't write a book where he hits his teammates, too.</strike> Will you slap me?
i belive his first name is ASHLEY! also do you Really care that he wrote a book?? it doesnt bother any chelsea fans but really annoys arsenal fans, why??
i dont think he is a chelsea legend... but he certainly is a great player. It really pissed me off we he left the gunnerz because he woz one of my favourite playerz, he has been playing for us his whole professional career and i really hate chelsea. So u can understand y i woz really pissed. I wouldnt boo him, he deserves more respect, but i wouldnt cheer him either.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"><div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">but he certainly is a great player.</div></div> You're right and he is probably one of the best left backs in the world and that's what annoy's me. but there is no denying that he is a scumbag. He slagged off Arsenal players that didn't deserve to be slagged off. Anyway we got Gallas and 5million out of that scumbag so we got the better end of the deal. Cashley Cole you used to be my hero but now you can rot in hell for all i care
yer i respect him coz he is a good player, but the thought he moved to chelsea(I HATE THEM!!!) makes me wanna scream!!!
