    Thierry Henry, of course. Anyway I think the player who fits best into the captain role is John Terry.

    ryan nelson, a complete leader, but robbie savage is also great, always gives 110% and gets the team going, its a shame he is out.

    I'll second that Carl, but I would mention Brad Friedel as a great leader of men although he is never given the armband (not that I can remember).

    It was Roy Keane for me but he is now a manager so I would go with John Terry

    yes but i dont agree that goalkeepers should be captains, the players needs to be out there in the action and able to see whats going on at all times and able to organise if needed.

    i think barton is, and i mean if your captain is mooning everton fans you know youve gotta trust the guy and he can keep your spirits up
