I'm with Dan 100%: why on earth Spurs are on the list I don't know, apart from the fact the pundits keep calling them a 'big team' for some reason. It's a 2 horse race, for now!
If we can continue our good run of form and Chelsea continue slipping up for sure we could challenge for 2nd, not sure about winning it though :/
Next year is realistically our season to top the league but anything can ahppen in football but its man uniteds title well should be.
The thing is, every season it's "next year" we will win it. We have the potential in our squad to be serious contenders but never seem to mount a challenege.
Liverpool just don't have the same quality that United and Chelsea, or even Arsenal, have. Buying Jermaine Pennant, Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt wasn't the answer. I think the problem has been Benitez. He's just not a good manager. The European Cup was a complete fluke and every Liverpool fan knows it. They didn't deserve the FA Cup last year either.
United and Chelsea are the only two teams who can realisticaly win it. If Liverpool had sarted with a settled squad then they may have been up there with United and Chelsea but they didn't ant thats why they are o far behind now
Liverpool are a great team with awesome players its just that they arent consistent enough and yer Benitez isnt the right coach for them. At least now they are getting their act together and starting to win consistently, but they will finish 4th or 5th IMO. Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal should take up the top 3 spots and the remaining 2 belong to the reds and Bolton. Bolton have had a good, solid season and they even finish 3rd at the highest. The pompeys are playing awesome football this season, but they arent a strong enough team finish up there with the leagues elite. Same with Tottenham, good team, just not good enough.

They've got a solid enough British core in Robbo, Ledley, Huddlestone and Defoe. They just need a scrappy, combative midfielder like a young Edgar Davids to shore up the middle. Berbatov seems to be sparking into life, which is good as I really do rate him as a good player.
