<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">United are set to pay Helsingborgs ?1.2million if Sir Alex Ferguson can persuade Henrik Larsson to stay for the rest of the season.
The Reds have been told what it will cost to keep the 35-year-old Swede at Old Trafford beyond his initial three-month loan spell, but the United boss knows the former Celtic striker could scupper the deal.

And Ferguson is set to alter his plans to give Larsson more first-team chances in a bid to tempt him to stay after his impressive debut on Sunday.
The Swede initially agreed to come to Old Trafford until March 12 before returning home to play for Helsingborgs and will consult his family before deciding on extending his stay.
Helsingborgs, who have been run on a shoestring over the past few seasons, are looking for a hefty lump of compensation to make the deal happen. </div>

He was awesome against Villa. Hopefully he can give us that extra stability and veteran guile to push on now that it's "squeaky bum time".

What what what. Now i like Larrson as much as the next. Everyone nows he's quality. but in all fairness, he's only played on game!

The form he showed against villa could of been a one off or it means he'll be in the form we saw of him at Celtic.

Reckon he'll be on the same wages though?
Can't remember the same amount exactly, but I know that at the moment he's the highest played player at United.

Yes this is good news for Utd. He is a great player and he can give Saha and Rooney a rest. And we now have enough strikers that we can cover if someone is injured.
