Talk to any fan in any pub ask them this question, they will say "my clubs" and for them they are right, but if you take in all the facts which do you think is the biggist rivalry. Celtic-Rangers: Must rank high being the only two major clubs in a country of passoinate people. Tottenham-Arsenal: The north london rivalry is noted for incodences such as Sol Campbells jump ship and the only thing ethier fan talks about is the other one. the list goes on and on and on and on Liverpool-Man U Inter-AC Real Madrid-Barcalona (figo and that pigs head) Wednesday-United Liverpool- Everton Fulham-Chelsea Newcastle- Boro So what are your thoughts on footballs strongest rivalry? Please feel free to comment.
England v Argentina is the greatest rivalry. Every match is so dramatic, every match have involved controversy, right back to 1966. I can't think of a more interesting rivalry.
Has to be the Old Firm in Glasgow. Such a bitterness and hatred towards the other team, i don't think the atmosphere is rivaled by any other derby game.
Real Madrid - Barcelona. the ultimate spanish derby. Thsoe two hate each other. And even worse...they hate traitors. Like Ben said, Figo had all kinds of shit rained on him. Also, i agree with Dan. Boca vs Riverplate. That is so passionate. South American futbol...you gotta love it!
england have way more of a rivalry against Argentina then Germany. France vs Brazil? IMO thatz a very big rivalry....
