I think what many people have failed to realise is the gaping absence of Eidur Gudjohnsen. Okay, he was not one of the superstars in the Chelsea line-up but he was such a solid player for Chelsea. He linked up play brilliantly and was is a brainbox of the game. He can spot a pass, strong and scores crucial goals. I thought it was a big mistake to let him go and I still do. He can play upfront and midfield.

I wished Man Utd had signed him, however, being at Chelsea it was unlikely he was going to come. He seems a forgotten man but it was crucial part of their squad. Many have pointed at Gallas but for me, Gudjohnsen was the biggest loss as he completely depicted Chelsea's solidity.

I still think Gallas leaving is the main reason why Chelsea are conceding alot of goals, but yes, Gudjohnson is becoming the forgotten man. He seems to be doing alright in Spain aswell.

It appears to me CONFIDENCE is our problem. It was clear that after the day we lost Cech and Cudicini everyone at the club get a reminder of life. That it's more important than football. There is more to life than football.

We lose our mind set. We lose our confidence in the box because we lost the world's greatest keeper. Then we lose one of the best keepers in the Premiership who has understandably lost his great form of the old days.

Then we lose Terry and the art of defence has been lost.

If you watch Lampard as captain - without Terry in the team. Look at where he gets, there isnt a blade of grass that he hasnt covered. Up and down. Left and right.

With Terry in he doesnt put such effort to get back. He has confidence in Terry and co to hit it out to him.

The whole team is running short on the only thing it appears Roman can't buy! Confidence is a wonderful thing.

You can add Duff to that list as well.

Last season we were lucky enough to not have any serious injuries and very few players were injured at the same time.

This meant that players like Eider and Damien didn't get many chances as their team mates were playing better.

Mourinho reluctantly let them go to allow them guaranteed first team play and now that we have been unlucky with long injuries to key players this season it means that we have a number of holes to fill.

Still, we are not doing too badly considering. 2nd in the premiership and still in every cup competition, having lost 5 important players to injuries is a remarkable achievement in my opionion.

Thank god I hope they do lose cause im sick of them winning the premiership now its boring, they destroyed its good when the other teams play but not Chelsea because they have a wad of cash and bought all these world class players has ruined the premiership for me
