Now Chelsea won't take Ben Haim for 3 million pounds (Come on so Kenyon is still arguing about 1 million more or less with Bolton again) I am not trying to start a debate or dig at Chelsea's defensive woes. But who the hell is Chelsea going to sign if they won't even want to pay 3 million pounds? Will Chelsea sign any players in the Jan window? We are one week before it closes
We tried for Baros, however missed out on him. Probaly we wern't going to pay too much for him and Villa liked the sound of Carew playing for Villa.. I don't want Chelsea to buy another attacker, I wan't Shevchenko to build up some form insted.. Defenseivly, we do need more cover.. Another CB would do us fine, Ben Haim as cover would of been great, however we didn't end up signing him hopefully we can get him though before January ends. However Kenyon doesn't want to rush into anything and he says it's hard to buy good players that aren't cup tied etc.. We're linked with a defender from the USA, can't remember his name however i'd take any cb for cover. However with JT back, it will improove our defenseive situation.
