AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani expects to finalise the signing of Ronaldo with Real Madrid after the Brazilian has a medical. Ronaldo, 30, has 18 months left on his contract and an offer has been made by for him by the Italian club. "Ronaldo will undergo a medical at Milanello on Friday and on Monday I have got an appointment with Real," Galliani told a Spanish website. "If everything goes to plan, Ronaldo will be a Milan player on Monday." Galliani added there "is a chance" that Ronaldo could be at AC Milan's San Siro Stadium on Thursday to see them play against Roma. Ronaldo, the highest goalscorer in World Cup history, cost £20m when he joined Real from Inter Milan in 2002 and could move back to Serie for a fee believed to be £5m. Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has made it clear that Ronaldo is on his way out of the club, having barely played under new coach Fabio Capello. Milan had pursued an interest in Ronaldo after the World Cup, but decided not to proceed because Real were only interested in a swap deal involving Brazil midfielder Kaka. "Real Madrid are not ready to allow Ronaldo to leave for free. There has been no agreement," added Galliani. Im glad he has got another challenge....AC need strikers and they have one of the best strikers in the world if he hits top form which is unlikely but it still is a good signin for AC...
