Get over it mate, as a united fan i consider the 99 final the greatest of all time, ask a Milan fan theirs, no one will say 0405 was theirs. it depends on who you support.

Not many neutrals would choose the 1999 final. As a German newspaper said at the time: "It was gigantic. It was sensational. It was out of this world. Thank you, Milan. Thank you, Liverpool. For the best Champions League final in history" These sentiments were added to by the likes of Cruyff and Maradona, and the UEFA website says this: "The Reds' European pedigree shone brightly again in 2005 when they battled back from 3-0 down to defeat AC Milan on penalties in what was perhaps the competition’s most exciting and memorable final" Get over it, mate... As for those people whining about it being in the past...so is last weekend. Are we only supposed to celebrate footballing achievements while they're in progress? (And before we even know the outcome?. As soon as it's over, it's in the past).
I hate Liverpool, and Liverpool fans like this who seems to think that because they won the Champions League 2 years ago automatically makes them the best team around. Didn't you go out to Benfica the year after? How embarrassing ... Yes, i know chelsea haven't won anything in Europe, and i don't particularly care. We've won the league, all i can ask for really.
I dont wanna be reminded about the night AC Milan threw the European Cup away because at half time it was too easy...
