    I'm only 16 therefore i have little experience in the PAST football times but i have heard about 1 billion times the saying 'BORING BORING ARSENAL' (mainly heard it from tottenham and man utd supporters, no surprise).

    I just wanted to know from the more experienced fans... WHERE ON EARTH DID THIS BORING ARSENAL SAYING COME FROM?

    If i'm not mistaken Arsenal define entertainment and i cannot name a more entertaining team in the league ... in fact the world so where did this saying come from?

    I really doubt everyone that calls you boring, boring arsenal actually mean it; i think they're just WUMing. don't get too cocky either i don't think you're the most entertaining football team in the world, brazil at their best are better to watch...

    It comes from George Graham's days when they had a great back four. You must of heard "1-0 to the Arsenal" I think that says it all.

    I dont recall Arsenal being called 'boring'....especially not from us UTD fans

    But i think Liverpool and Chelsea are boring
