The Villa transfer rumours are a rife this afternoon? With Martin O'Neill leaving it until the last minute to leave for Newcastle and with the rumour surrounding Shaun Maloney of Celtic gathering momentum it appears he isn't the only player that interests the manager. High on the list, apparently, is Scott Parker but Newcastle were, again apparently, not interested at the beginning of January however, according to some sources, Juan Pablo Angel has again been offered as part of the deal. Seems like O'Neill isn't too keen on Angel at the moment and his days are surely now numbered and it's just up to the player to pick a club he's been offered to. Now, this one really is from the land of fantasy but there?s rumours going round that American youngster Freddy Adu is on the verge of signing for Villa. Apparently he was seen at the Villa training ground this morning and is thought to be a good way to market Villa in the USA. And lastly there seems to be a lot of rumours flying around about Alan Smith? Apparently Alan Smiths been seen with his agent at New Hall Hotel in Sutton, where the Villa team meet before home and away games. And Smith has also been spotted in the Bullring today doing some shopping allegedly! So? Maloney, Parker, Adu and Smith??? Who knows what will happen by midnight Only a few hours left but I've got a sneaky feeling we'll see someone come in. Not sure that Newcastle would be too interested in letting Parker go but I suspect he might quite fancy the idea. Smith might still be on the cards but lets not get carried away as he has already said numerous times he wants to stay at United. And as for Adu, well, like I said, fantasy.
I think Villa have Maloney now im not sure my dad told me but he always jokes with me cause he is a rangers fan
