    Re: Fabregas-v-Scholes-v-Gerrard-v-Lampard

Fabregas - good player but lacks strengh and experience

Scholes - One more good year in him then he will likely fade

Lampard - Needs good players around him to perform

Gerrard - no weaknesses, a match winner in even the most difficult of circumstances

So my verdict: Gerrard by a mile, then Scholes

I think we'd all agree that Fab is the best young midfielder in the country.
Scholes is the best over 30 attacking central midfielder in country.
and frank and steve are the two most overrated midfielders in the premiership, playing for the most overratedm country in the world.

Fabregas: A fast, young player with a bright future. Lacks experience though.

Scholes: A veteran in his day, one of the most experienced and he still shows a flash of brilliance, even at his age.

Lampard: One of the biggest ball hogs in modern day football. He just shoots and shoots and misses and misses and occasionaly scores.

Gerrard: Awesome player, one of the best in the world and in the premiership.
I would say he'd probably be the best out of the lot.

    Gunnerz,

Line up Frank Lampard (all games) to Paul Scholes (all games) - Eurosport

Like you said Scholes has flashes... his an attacking player and only 17 shots all season! Sounds like his past his sell by date.

Paul Scholes is the best out of them all i mean for his whole playing Career but isnt going to last much longer hes is 33 this year but you never know

Lampard, he can pass a good ball most of the time and hit a good shot hasnt done much this season or for England during the world cup i dont see the fuss about him

Fabregas he is the next best midfielder in the premiership in my view when he gets more expierance

Gerrard very good player but overated

IMO I think it should be in this order(liverpool fans will hate me)

    Scholes
    Lampard
    Fabregas
    Gerrard

Scholes, Lampard and Fabregas are always on the ball and always have great passing accuracy...but i still think Gerrard is good but doesnt perform constistantly
