Maybe it's a good thing that Chelsea have to make do with what they have. Liverpool discard players faster than fast food cartons, and Chelsea have tended to stick with players to get the best out of them. Drogba has come good, as has Joe Cole and countless others, including Diarra in recent games. Rather than give up on players such as Boulahrouz, Wright Phillips, Schevchenko etc. the coaching staff need to work with them, and bring out the best in them. Chelsea is a hard club to fit in to, as Ballack and co' have shown. That doesn't mean you give up when instant success doesn't come though.
Mourinho has probably ran out of ideas of who to buy he bought professinal players to go into the under 19s squad he has a reserve team full of world class players and a first team and i bet he has players from the Division 1 come in and make him coffee for 1000 quid a minute
