I am not so sure. Charlton were beaten 2-1 at Chelsea already this season which isn't a thrashing. Chelsea have more or less always been a far more superior team than Charlton, more so since Charlton have been in the Premiership and Chelsea started spending Billions. But looking at the above record that wouldn't suggest this. Games played at the Valley you could say is 50-50 and either team could win. If Chelsea ever had a bogie team would Charlton be it. Charlton knocked Chelsea out of the Cup on Penalties last season and I have always got this un-explainable belief when Charlton play Chelsea. I always look forward to this game. It wouldn't surprise me if everyone commenting on this article say's Charlton will get thrashed. But "football is a funny old game". I really want Charlton to survive this season more than anything but on the other hand I really dont want Man U to win the league...
