Of course Thomson is a good buy but it was Brown who Rangers really needed! The rest are short term fixes, so nothng to get excited about. Also you lost a lot of players from the squad Clement, Rodriguez, Bardsley, Martin, Ricksen, Letizi etc. So the squad is weaker and where's the spark/goals going to come from? I suggest that on balance WS has not done enough in this window and Rangers are in for a tough battle for 2nd place, and to progress further in Europe.
They got rid of all the dead wood so to speak. No chance at the title but 2nd place should be in the bag

Rangers need to spend serious money to get back in contention - and offload a lot of dead wood. Walter did a better job in the Scotland post (not difficult considering his predecessor) and it was a blow to lose him. Gers fans were happy to see him leave the last time, funny how things change. Next season: Celtic being pushed by Hibs/Aberdeen..... (think thats those green glasses again!)
