I just read that Jamal Lewis and Ray Lewis won the offensive and defensive player of the year awards. It's the first time in NFL history that teammates have won those awards. You can make a strong case for both players in regards to those awards, but shouldn't the Ravens be a better team if they have the best player on each side of the ball? In other words, I think both of these guys are overrated. Jamal had a great year, but he did get to play the Browns twice. I have always thought that Ray Lewis is way overrated. Not that I don't think that he is a great player, but I don't think he's everything that he's been made out to be. I just think that Ravens would be better if these guys were equal to their hype.
i agree, but there was a lot of players that were worthy, LT i thought was the def. o player, but jamal made a strong run for the record. on defense, i really thought that ray was the best, but you could make a case for strahan to. D wasnt a lot of outstanding players.
Hmmm. The Ravens have the best players on both sides of the ball and now they're done in one. I think these guys might not be equal to their hype.
2000 yards and over 200 tackles for 2 players on the same team, that are 2 great friends and have had 2 career years and 2 great seasons. sorry, 2 is just the key word here, but no they arent overrated. ray had a great year and so did jamal its the coach thats overrated. who would you replace them with? if there is one, i say LT then the palyers drop no1 had that big of a year on D there wasnt a better performance <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>DolfanDale wrote: Hmmm.
