I have watched vidic play numerous times this season and I feel he possesses all the attributes to suggest he is a better defender then terry. His physical presence is fantastic and his ability to score goals definately matches Terry. His goals against Tottenham, Benfica and recently his disallowed goal against pompey in the cup are prime examples of this. However, I think that Vidic edges Terry with his pace. Terry has Carvalho to cover him in this area for Chelsea but he often gets found out when playing for England.If Vidic was English it would be interesting to see hu would get the nod....Vidic or Terry!!!! YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
Terry > Vidic If Vidic was English then currently t would be Terry and Vidic in central defense, however Terry being our captian would get the nod first and would always get the nod before anyone else unless the armbands removed. But yeah, Terry > Vidic. One good season alone isn't enough to judge a player.
No chance.. Vidic in my opionion is the best Central Defender in England at the moment well better than Terry. He is like a brick wall at the back and he cause the other defence problems with corners or when he goes up for freekicks he is a major threat to all english teams one of Sir Alex's best buys i reckon better than Ferdinand he has lost it now he lays back to much now but tries during big games Vidic just plays with his heart. Great player for United one of there best this season.
