Very frequently on this board, I hear Gooners say that they think Cesc will not stay with Arsenal beyond 24/25. What makes people think that he will not stay with Arsenal for the rest of his career? Cesc will hopefully soon realise that a club like Arsenal and a coach like Wenger will give him the greatest platform ever in which to take centre stage to showcase his talents. Such is his potential, that he could, if he stays for many years, surpass TH14 as Arsenal's greatest legend in the modern game. It is all, of course, conjecture as to whether or not he will leave in a few years or stay for the rest of his career and we all know that a football contract is not worth the paper it is written on but I am hoping that when he looks at players like Dennis and Thierry and realises what their loyalty to the club means to the fans, that he will stay for many years to come!
imagine you're a young english footballer playing for Inter, and your favourite english team wants to buy, would you go? YES you would. Same applys to Cesc, he will move to Barca in his peak (the following year Henrey retires IMO) .
I can't see cesc leaving util he's abotu 28/29 when he's at the end of his career. look at henry. had many oppurtunities to go to barca. Easily the best club in europe but he chose to stay because he knows his fans love him.
He said he would leave to go to catalunya when he is near the end of his career. So don't rule out Espanyol Plus he said he would go because of his girlfriend aswell. So maybe she will be dumped, meaning he can stay at Arsenal till he retires.
