Scolari added: "Cristiano needs to move somewhere where the team is an integral part of the club - not somewhere where the system is based on individual 'heroes' or 'stars'. Has Scolari ever been to Old Trafford, has he wondered why United has the biggest fanbase in the world. Is he confusing United with Chelsea? You tell me... Their is no other top club in the UK where the team (or in fact every team from youngsters to the girls, to the street and academy teams) is all that de club is about... training young people, growing team spirit, working together... United is 6 points up based on team work not mere stars... eeeh like Ronaldhino... No United is a workmans club and has a fighting spirit... that is why van Nistelrooij had to leave... nothing left to fight for in him by the end, apart perhaps from some rows on the trainingspitch... No room for the solo stars at Old Trafford, only for team players.. and Ronaldo is getting that more and more.. and that is why is doing so well...
Actually, he's talking through his back side. Individual play is hugely important for someone like Ronaldo. He has learned how to play within a team by being at United. Barcelona would offer similar but I doubt as much. The trainign facilities at Carrington are second to none. He'd be wise for his own sake to want him to stay at United where he will improve at a faster pace than at Barca. At United, he gets to be a star aswell as a valuable team player. He's bluffing. I always knew he was full of it.
I don't care much for your club, but Scolari is an idiot. Overrated and a classless individual as well.
