Well La Liga fans now have a pretty strong argument that La Liga should be considered as the better league in terms of terms of talent and quality. Spain comfortably beating England home and away with the same scoreline shows that perhaps La Liga is better. It should be interesting to read what die-hard Premiership fans have to say about this.

How can 11 spaniards playing 11 englishmen over a 90 minute period arrive you at the conclusion that a whole league is better than another.

i assume then that the northen irish league is better than the premiership.
the sweedish top league is above or the same as the premiership as we haven't beaten them for 50 odd years and the portugese, brazilian, australian, romanian and croatian leagues are also superior to the premiership

Have you forgotten the fact the prem doesnt just consist of english players (look at the top 4). The most any of them have playing is 3 english players. Unfortunately the English Prem and the England side are completely different animals.

You're a total idiot. I don't recall seeing Thiery Henry, Drogba, Essien, Fabregas, Rondaldo, and so on playing for england yesterday.

But...hold on....they all play in the premiership, not the spanish league. Hmmmm does that mean you are writing total rubbish?

Considering that the teams in the prem and la liga are made up from largely other nations, then no, this FRIENDLY, where there were about 12 subs made gives no indication on which league is stronger.

The only way to judge the leagues is on how their respective teams do in europe.

Having a good league does not mean you have a good national team. Germany, Brazil, Argentina, France etc do not have good leagues....does this mean in your blinkered opinion that their national sides are rubbish? get a life amigo, international games have no reflection on domestic leagues.
