Perhaps the largest network in the US that's devoted to sports has recently put up an article debating whether Becks is worth the money he's getting. In this article one author writes that Beckham won't even be the best player on his new team and suggests that Landon Donovan, a player who never made it onto the starting team in Bayer Leverkusen, is better. I'm an American so I suppose I should be supporting our guy, but unless I'm seriously mistaken about Beckham's performance of late, I'm quite confident he'll tear the American league apart. I'm curious as to whether I'm alone in this prediction.
i guarantee you, hell do no such thing.Infact im prepared to bet you and those in america who understand the sport will be quite amazed at how limited and overated the man is.Im sure he ll be given 500 free-kicks a season and if he scores one this will be replayed a million times both there and here by our media to show what a "great" success hes being but its all garbage.Even in your substandard league,i think hell look an extremely limited and one-dimensional footballer, what hes always been, despite the media spin.
No doubt he will be a class player for them. He is still a great player and should be recalled to the England squad.
i my self am a follower in european soccer because i find american soccer lackin great talent and diehard fans so it is notas exciting however david beckham i believe is not worth what he is recieving and should just retire with dignity and not ruin something that is getting built up
beckham alone, well hell add skill and what not, but you dont notice the skill and talent as a midfielder as much as a defender/Goalkeeper/Striker because their isnt always a end result so i dont think hell look as good as he could. also theirs the fact beckham looked good in england/spain because he had quality team mates who could latch onto the balls and the plays he sets up, as someone said (i think its in here) they are like the equivelent to our coca cola league 1/2 so he wont have much skill to be working with in his team mates and as a result not look as good as he may
