Italian National Anthem v England's..

How jolly the Italian National Anthem is! Great to see their players grabbing their shirts and singing with pride.

I don't doubt our players committment to queen and country, but please can we do somehting about our national anthem? "God save the queen" is so outdated and I'm afraid I cringe everytime I hear it.

I would love to see it updated/replaced? Anyone with me or care to convince me otherwise?

 

Yeah its a boring song. What could we change it to though??

 

Another thing, why is it god save the queen? Why not god save the pope or god save krustie...

Just a boring 'song' to sing and hear, then again it makes ideal crapping and eating time.

Why rule Brittania? That then means we are also shouting for Scotland ,Wales and N.I. and the last thing i knew was they certainly don't shout for us.
