Arsene Wenger seems to know how to spot a good left back, replacing Winterburn with Silvinho, then Cole, now Glichy and it looks like Traore is the next in line. Currently the EPL seems to have an abundancy of quality left backs. So who is the best? I'd suggest one of the following but feel free to suggest others: Ashley Cole, Matthew Taylor, Leighon Baines, Gael Glichy, Wayne Bridge, Paul Konchesky, Gabriel Heinze, Patrice Evra, John Arne Riise.
Ashley Cole is best in england at moment and therefor in world as no other great left backs play abroad i feel,correct me if im wrong though please, I do agree arsene does find some good young left backs as i think gael clichy is goin to be a star and end up somewhere even bigger then arsenal
Evra is the best at the moment...he has turned into a great tackler and is teh best at going forward.
Evra is amazing at the moment, as C.Ronaldo said Good tackler and One of the best going forward. I gotta to agree then after him I would say Riise he can score and also very stong at the back
Clichy is nowhere near the best left back in the premiership, he's got potential but at the moment is far too inconsistent as a player. On form, at the moment I'd say that either Evra or Cole are the best in the prem, but on pure class I'd say Riise, Cole, Evra. Baines will be quality in the future.
