Can the Toons win the UEFA Cup?

Does anyone agree with me that Newcastle can win the UEFA Cup this season? I believe this season would be a fitting event if Newcastle could win the UEFA Cup and might be a lovely return for Michael Owen in the final helping us lift the cup, ending years of hurt for the toon. The only person I would feel sorry for if we did win it is the NO.9 legend that is Alan Shearer!

I think any team at this stage of the competition can surely win it.

hmm. they got beat by AZ Alkmaer after having a 3-0 and 4-1 lead at ST James's Park. they then lost 2-0 in alkmaer, so no Newcastle will not win the 2006-2007 uefa cup.

 

Hmmm I think we all know that.

 

Dang... We blew it. But now that my boys have been semi-revamped, next season should be interesting!
