Vidic must be one of Sir Alex's best buys in his management carear. Relativly unknown before we got him, around ?5 to ?7 million i think, way cheaper then Rio, Great in the air, rock solid with Rio, holds his ground superbly and chips in with the goals, 4 or 5 now i think. Plus he is only going to get better becasue of his age and surly is one reason why we are still going strong for the trebel!
You can't argue anything against Vidic besides his slightly shaky start whilst getting used to the club and the country. Top marks all round for him now though, he seems to be getting better and better.

Yes he is a great find and such a bargin for United. Vidic is better than Ferdinand [who doesnt try much anymore]
Why are people saying Vidic is better than Rio? I think you are getting way ahead of yourselfs, i don't think you realise who much Rio actually does?

I didnt say he was the greatest because of this season. I said he might be the best defender in this season on his performances and our defensive record shows. So Dan? this season. Who is better than Vidic? I bet you will say the typical John Terry. Who i have to admit is great but he does have weaknesess. He hasnt a lot of pace but i dont want to go on and on. Vidic has been good and i am proud on how well our whole defensive unit this season.
