The next week is crucial to the future of Maarten Jol at Tottenham. On Sunday he must get a result at Craven Cottage. A draw would probably do, but a defeat will close one of the two remaining open doors for Spurs European ambitions next season and that would help to undermine Jol?s future. Then on Wednesday and Sunday next week there are two Premiership matches away to Everton and at home to Bolton. Here Jol will be up against two managers in David Moyes and Sam Allardyce who, with far more limited resources than are available to Jol, have managed to get their teams to perform far far better. Jol needs four points from the two Prem matches to protect his ample Dutch backside. Less and it will be ?Tot Ziens, Maarten?

Moyes and Allardyce have hardly been working on shoe strings have they? If you take into account the amount Jol has made from selling players I doubt there would be as much in it as you think.

Very improtant fot Tottenham these coming weeks. This year has been disappointing compared to last season but if they can get a trophy or a top 6 finish they will be highly satisfied.
