Fabregas was more than bloody right in his comments to Hughes and why wont the FA/Press cash in and tell Hughes he NEEDS to play and behave 'positively' for the good of the english game? If the English press is slightly concerned about the (currently remote) chances of england EVER winning a football trophy in my lifetime (and I am 32 yrs old); then they ought to come to the defence of Fabregas. It is not Wenger bringing foreigners that is killing the EPL, it is coaches like Mark Hughes who play rubbish for 90 minutes and have the GUTS to complain when a 19 year old Spaniard tells him the blatant truth. At this rate and with this kind of game, england should never expect to win the world cup, even if you host it in 2000-and-whatever; and even if your prime minister was refereeing ALL your matches. You'd still lose at the quarter finals (when the chaffs are separted from the seeds) Why? because coaches like Hughes have made english teams forget the art and science of "winning" which can only happen when you play "positively" with the intention of "scoring"...words that are not in Blackburn vocabulary no doubt. How sad. English teams cant score on the world stage and are poor with their penalty kicks...there IS crisis in your football and it starts with your attitude and mentality towards football..a game which..YOU invented (or so they say).

Fergie just made comments about how replays are important to clubs like Reading who see it as an achievement. For heavens sake...try to win the damn thing and get used to it while you are at it. competitions like world cups DONT have replays.

It is because of these negative tactics (Hughes was bragging about how they are first to "stop" arsenal scoring at Emirates - as of that was an achievement by itself) - thats why english youngsters look mediocre with respect to their foreign counetrparts. English coaches should make their players think and play positively in order to inculcate that 'winning/scoring' culture again.

    kyle it was yesterday afternoon.

Anyway...Blackburn were right in there tactics. They got their result 0-0 which is a great result at the Emirates. If they would of played great open football they would of lost 6-2 again. To play against Arsenal you need 10 men behind the ball and defend well. We went there and play good football and lost 2-1. So if we cant win there then surely Blackburn cant using our tactics.

Blackburn dont mind about how they play. Blackburn care about there results and why shouldn't they.
