Chelsea ?80 Million in debt and counting!

    It cant be right that Chelsea get to declare losses of such amounts and yet still continue to play-most other clubs without a benefactor would have gone into liquidation. They are not playing by the same rules as all other clubs and instead of dealing with this the FA are welcoming more business interests from abroad. Most other English clubs have to make a profit to continue but Chelsea don't. Its ruining football and smaller clubs cant compete. That's what is really running football. Being able to pump money from wherever to fund a football club that can't balance its book.

    Chelsea will today announce losses of £80m for the last financial year, a £60m reduction on the £140m deficit recorded in 2004-05. The £80m loss, the lowest recorded in the three full years since Roman Abramovich took control of the club, takes the aggregate losses during the Russian's ownership to £308m and his total spending on the club over £500m.

    You do know Ambrovich is richer then what then the whole of the Premiership put together. That's why the FA haven't stepped in...
