following on from the decision by the big wigs at Fifa, from next season it has now become a yellow card offence for a scoring player to look at opposing fans or walk in their general direction after scoring a goal. Of course this isn't true but where will we be in the next couple of years with these completely incompetent decisions from the top. Rather than tackle the real troubling issues of football (racism, foreign investment etc.), they decide to nullify the very reason why we watch the beautiful game. Anything that can be remotely deemed to be in sighting opposition fans warrants a booking from next year. What do they want? apologetic handshakes to the other team? the raw emotion and tribal effect that your team scoring has shouldn't be subdued, it should be embraced. Football is a game of emotion, We take the gouging from the opposition, knowing that we will have our time to return it with interest. They should stop bookings for celebrating within reason and turn there attention to an offside rule that no one understands. any thoughts?
this is getting pathetic, soon they will eradicate celebrating completely and players will be red carded for showing emotion
