In that period, he has won the Uefa Cup, the CL, The PL twice, The Super Cup, The Portuguese league thrice and other small trophies like the Carling Cup.
Do you know how many trophies Fergie had won after only 6 years coaching?? You guessed it. ZERO!!!!!!

Fergie has obviously won more but he has been coaching for much longer. Its amazing that they have won the same number of CL trophies. Mourinho's greatness cannot be questioned

thing is that fergie took over below average sides and yes when he took over man united they were a mid table side. so your argument is flawd.

and what would be the point in staying on at a club once you've accomplished near enough everything! [IMG]

Adding to that: United4Life, Fergie won the CL in 1999 with some of the best players in the world and were also the Richest team in the world! Mourinho won the CL with Porto, a team that had only a tiny fraction of United's wealth.

There is no comparison here. Mourinho's win in the CL was far greater then United's.

Alex Ferguson made Man Utd the best team in Europe. When Porto won it they wernt the best in Europe. They got lucky against us and they never had a hard draw.

In the first six years of Fergie's coaching he was with a mid-table team and look where he has got them today. I cant see Mourinho taking Newcastle to anywhere near United's standards.

Besides Mourniho wont win as much as Fergie does in a lifetime.
