Now I know mancs will huff and puff(ahem)about this one but i'm saying it anyway! In my opinion the lad as stagnated and is nowhere near the player he is made out to be. Don't get me wrong I think he is a DECENT player but only that. He is likely to score 2 goals in 1 game then you hear nothing from him in the next 10.To me that is not a great player. When he burst onto the scene he looked like he was gonna be a world beater but like I say he hasn't improved. My father in law is a Man U fan and he agrees with me. So think about what I've said and watch him over the next 10 or so games and even though the media will cream their pants about a simple little pass I think you will probably say I'm right . people forget how young he is and he can still improve . I dont think the media do suck up to him . He did play for Everton and the fact that you are Liverpool what can i say, you may be a little biased I say Owen was not the player people thought he was going to be . The Spain move killed him off. He is very over rated
Nothing to do with bias. Its my opinion of which everyone is entitled to. I'm just sick of reading how great he is but when I see him more often than not he disappoints.
Rooney is overrated in my opinion. But he has skill and at moments can score from brilliance. He is only 21 and he is Englands best striker but he aint as great as people think.
Has anybody been watching Rooney lately? He has been playing quality. People expect him to do amazing things on the ball every time he touches it but people forget he is only 21 and has a lot to learn yet.

some one did, anyway, i do think rooney is overrated but England put too much pressure on him. we wanted him to win the world cup for us, we seem to beleive we cant do anything without him. he is only 21.
I cant defend him by saying No because he is but people forget he is still only young and theres more to come from him and he hasnt had the best of seasons this year but neither has Ronaldinho so is Ronaldinho overrated?
