Looking to next season, with NRC gone or still here, who do think should be hammers captain? I think we need someone who has the balls to play for this club and lead us to the prem or if we stay up (god willing we do!) to Europe and beyond! i think a big mouthed confident player like Mark Noble, he was giving it out on Saturday to keep the players going, and if not and he stays then i think Lucas Neill could be a good choice, he was pretty good captain for Blackburn and did well for us against the tottscum on Sunday? What do you think about my choices? and what are your choices for a player who can lead this club to bigger and better things!

Robert Green if he stays would be a good captain. Mark Noble needs a run in the side without the worries of captaincy.

Lucas Neill for me. He seems a good captain and he the rock at the back, he was the captain at Blackburn aswell.

I'd be VERY surprised if Lucas is still at West Ham come next season, assuming you don't survive the drop, but yes, all in all he's as good a captain as anyone.

I think Green or maybe Neill. Both would make good captains IMO
