With the English trio kept apart in the quarter finals, this is the perfect draw. It also allows for the mouth watering prospect of a Liverpool - Man United final. Chelsea will probably loose to Valenica, allowing the mouth watering prospect of a Liverpool - Valencia semi final. Wouldn't that be perfect?

Amazingly the three teams from the richest league in the world are kept apart in the quarter finals of Europe's premier club trophy.

Enough of the cynicism though; this draw is excellent for the English teams involved, with each surely recognised as favourites in their respective ties.

You'd have to back Man Utd against Roma, especially with the decisive second leg at the Theatre of Dreams and Chelsea should have enough to see off a strong Valencia side if their makeshift centre back pairing of Carvalho and Essien can keep the prolific Villa at bay.

The game that gets my juices flowing is the prospect of two of Europe's finest tactical coaches coming face in the PSV v Liverpool game. Over the last two years Ronald Koeman has made a habit of knocking English clubs out but Liverpool should triumph here if they can do what Arsenal failed to and score in Eindhoven

Then there's the prospect of another Chelsea v Liverpool semi and the possibility of another clash of the giants whoever progresses from the Milan v Bayern quarter final match up.

All in all I can't wait for the final stages of the competition to arrive. I wish the English teams involved the best of luck and look forward to the prospect of an all English final come May.

My money's on a Liverpool v United final and a classic that will live long in the memory.

I think it will be a Chelsea Vs Ac Milan final for the simple fact that i believe Chelsea have more to lose this year and will throw absolutly everything at Liverpool and Liverpool will not be able to handle it. Remember the Chelsea Vs Arsenal last 10 minutes when Chelsea went all out so as not to lose at Stamford? Remember 2nd half at Old Trafford when Chelsea knew that a loss would mean the end of the title race?
I think that Liverpool will beat PSV because of their immense heart and commitment when they play Champions League football. I can see Man U beating Roma but lsing to Ac Milan as Man U have had so much luck this season i believe that it will run out when they are forced to actually play a good team.
