What should be our starting XI for the coming year. I think all gunners fan agree that we are lacking in some areas. We are patient and believe in our younger players, but we could use some experience. Here is my ideal XI and my realistic XI for next year. Your thoughts....

    Ideal XI:
    Buffon
    Toure Woodgate Gallas Abidal
Van Persie Gilberto Fabregas D. Carvalho
    Eto'o Henry.

I think toure would be a great RB. No doubt he is a great CB, but he is quite good going forward, so why not advantage of this. Similar story with Abidal. I think this would make for an amazing back for. For me van persie not an out and otu striker, so why not let him float around the box. This is a 4-4-2, but almost a 4-3-3 as well. It means that our mid-feild is not very defensive minded, but with gilberto, and that backline, I think we could handle the pressure. Meanwhile, Fabregas and Carvalho would make good playmakers. Finally Eto'o Henry, is easily one fo the most fearsome strike partnerships in the world.

    Realistic XI:

    Akinveef/Alumnia
    Eboue Toure Gallas Clichy
    Rosicky Gilberto Fabregas Ribery
    Van Persie Henry

I do not see Arsene Wenger splashing out around 30-40 mln (after selling some players). I think Ribery is bound for Arsenal, and Akinveef is a possiblilty. But as usual the war-chest David Dein always talks about will once again not be opened. I still think some good youth will come, like Ryan Babel.

I love this team, if you actually put it together I'd be very tempted to support Arsenal.

On seconds thoughts, nah, I'll just like you [IMG]
