Roberto Carlos announced to the Spanish Press his intentions of leaving Real Madrid when his contract expires on the 30th of June 2007. He did not give any reason except for feeling bad for having to "put up with a lot" since Real Madrid lost to Bayern Munchen. I would like to express my best wishes to Roberto Carlos wherever he goes.
Somewhere in Italy. the only plays where they value aging players at the end of their career. He might move to either Juventus or Inter, depending on the transfer window. Juventus more likely!
Hmm would have thought he'd go to America. All old superstars go there : Pele, Becks,di Baggio, Best(Not too sure on that one)
Expect him to either go back to Brazil or go to Qatar. He left Real because of the amount of trophies they have missed out on, and he's just right. Why should he stay, Real Madrid are a mess, so many Directors and Managers over the years. Side Note: Okocha#1- Why don't you just pick on team to support
Well I just love football! I hate picking over one team. But I guess S.S. Lazio has my heart, as the first game I ever saw was a Lazio game against Benfica. Back to the topic, I disagree. Carlos still has some to offer he would never settle for Quatar or somwhere in Brazil, at least not yet! Juventus will look for him, im almost convinced.
I just read he might be headed to Turkey with Fenerbace. I think that would be a good move for him, but I still think he should try and go to Italy and join one of the Big teams there. With Fenerbace I dont see him winning anything more than the Leauge title and maybe the UEFA cup, but that is VERY unlikely!
He should come to Chelsea as back up to Wayne Bridge, that way we can get rid of the shit-waste-of-space that is Cashley Cole.
