I'll be frank and admit I'm not a supporter of your team. So you'll have to take my word for it when I say I'm not winding you up.

I'm just intrigued by how often John Obi Mikel has made the headlines for your club, and usually for the wrong reasons. A controversial transfer, two red cards, fallings out with the manager over his attitude, and death threats if he doesn't choose country over club.

On the other hand, he's much younger than Ballack and Shevchenko, the other big signings of last summer, so is arguably more important to the future of your club. Am also told he gave a star performace against Porto (though I never saw that match so am going on what I've heard).

So, on balance...is he worth having in your team or not?

Not yet he isn't. I can't believe the amount we ended up paying for him, Fergie must have laughed his head off at a cracking bit of business.

He is powerful and quick, one for the next two years! All other opinion is because of jealousy. [IMG]

Early days. You can't judge him yet. His time will come.
